This Year in #VildaOOTD

2018 is drawing to a close and this was the year when #VildaOOTD truly exploded. After our #VildaOOTD Vegan Outfit of the Year competition (won by the stylish Maike Furstenberg), the hashtag became a vegan fashion favourite and there are currently almost 1.4k photos uploaded to it on Instagram.

We’re proud of our #VildaOOTD fashionistas everywhere for showing how chic and inspiring vegan fashion can be, and just how easy cruelty-free dressing is. To that end, we wanted to round off the year with our favourite vegan outfits.

Leslie, New Jersey // ShopAltani

Celebrating seasonless chic with this versatile combination of rich hues, loose-fitting silhouettes and a hint of neutrals. Well done, Leslie – the vegan fashion police salutes you.

Noa, Israel // Style With a Smile

Autumnal fashion at its finest – with patterns to adorn deep red, topped off with a bucket bag. Add a joyful smile like Noa’s, and you’re good to go.

Natalie Cristina, Toronto // The Purist

Skinny jeans and a biker jacket make for a classic fail-safe outfit – and Natalie Cristina breaks off the basics with a taupe handbag and patent pumps. We can’t wait for the weather to warm up enough to wear this.

Lindsey, Seattle // Velvet Report

The entrepreneur behind vegan beauty brand Velvet Report is, unsurprisingly, very stylish. Lindsey combines bright red with basic black – and adds interest with leopard print. We want to copy this now.

Amanda, Iceland // Amanda Sophy

Checks never go out of style – and teamed with black, they truly come to their finest. Amanda adds a casual edge with pure white trainers for an outfit that’s relaxed and dressy at the same time.

Livia, London / Vienna // Livia van Heerde

Monochrome is a fashion evergreen – and even more so when brightened up with a statement accessory, like in the case of Livia’s Love Sofie sandals that beautifully offset her black trousers and white shirt combination. Classic.

Clara, Gothenburg // The Vashion Blogg

For chilly weather, there is nothing like a faux fur coat in a rich, jewel tone, thrown over some denim and knee-high boots. Clara personalises the look with a vegan-themed tee that’s topping our wishlists.

Honourable Mention: Elisa, Hamburg // Karli Loves Poppy

Former Vilda staffer Elisa rounds off this list with this patterned statement dress with an elegant off-the-shoulder cut and platform sandals. This is the stuff that vegan fashion summer dreams are made of.

Inspired?

The #VildaOOTD hashtag was created to showcase beautiful and creative vegan outfits โ€“ and to inspire fashionistas everywhere to dress with compassion. To be part of the movement, share your own cruelty-free looks with the hashtag #VildaOOTD on Instagram, and you just might find yourself featured on the magazine.
