Maybe you’re thinking about a last minute getaway this bank holiday, or perhaps you want to book yourself a little treat to look forward to in the coming weeks and indulge in a long weekend for one. Whatever the reason (not that you need one to reward yourself with some R&R), there are some fabulous places to consider, that will happily cater to vegans – and no, you won’t be eating just salad. A general rule I like to follow is to contact your accommodation as soon as possible to tell them you are vegan – it makes it easier all round, and it gives then chance to prepare something special for you.
Moddershall Oaks, Staffordshire
Nestled away in the stunning Staffordshire countryside, this lakeside destination offers spa days and spa breaks designed to transport you away from your everyday worries. With a menu full of enticing treatments, a special shout-out has to go to the Healthy Hedonism package, which features a glass of vegan-friendly and organic Skinny Prosecco, a superfood smoothie bowl, full access to spa facilities, a two-course lunch and a dark chocolate wrap treatment. As ever, mention you are vegan when booking and get ready for some pampering.
