VildaOOTD: October Vegan Streetstyle Edit

October is almost over, and it has been an exciting month for the #VildaOOTD Instagram hashtag: this month’s vegan streetstyle is a colourful mix of breezy floral dresses, posted by the lucky few who reside in areas where the sun is still shining, and chunky knits and autumnal coats for the rest of us. Diverse and experimental, vegan streetstyle is always inspiring – here are our October favourites from around the globe.

Noa, Israel // Style With a Smile

Take your style cue from Noa (a #VildaOOTD veteran!) and give your faux-leather jacket a romantic twist with sleeve ruffles, and pair must-have basics such as high-waisted denim with a seductive hint of red. Perfect for a Saturday on the town.

Natalie Christina, Toronto // The Purist

How to best style faux-leather trousers? Learn from The Purist blogger Natalie Cristina and give them an edge with killer heels and a statement bag – but keep the look chic by adding a neutral knit. This is autumn glamour done the right way.

Maike, Berlin // The Fancy Vegan Life

The perfect pairing for autumn? Oversized knits and a faux leather mini. A foolproof way to look effortlessly chic, especially when accessorized with patent brogues, like shown by Maike here. Amazing red backdrop of beautiful autumn leaves optional.

Frederique, Arnhem // Fab Le Frique

A teddy coat is probably one of the best investment buys you can ever make – at least if you live in a cold country like Frederique, who’s based in the Netherlands. We love her way of playing up the Seventies factor with flares and patterned ankle boots.

Yana, New York // Yana Watson

Besides having some of the best daytime smokey eyes we’ve ever seen, Yana has also nailed the autumn monochrome look. One of the biggest trends of the season, the over-the-knee boot, meets its perfect companion in this slouchy coat – and that clutch is going on our wishlists asap.

Inspired?

The #VildaOOTD hashtag was created to showcase beautiful and creative vegan outfits – and to inspire fashionistas everywhere to dress with compassion. To be part of the movement, share your own cruelty-free looks with the hashtag #VildaOOTD on Instagram, and you just might find yourself featured on the magazine.
