Vegan Cuts Beauty Box – May Review

IMG_5616

Monthly subscription boxes have exploded in popularity over the last few years – and with good reason. Who wouldn’t enjoy receiving a secret gift each month and indulging in the joy of unwrapping unknown treasures, trying new products and discovering new goodies each month? It’s clearly a winning concept, and as such, it was only a matter of time before the vegan world caught up with it.

VeganCuts was the first monthly subscription service to focus solely on cruelty-free products. They started up with their Snack Box filled with yummy plant-based snacks, and then recently branched out into beauty by offering a Beauty Box filled with makeup, skincare and other wonderful little beautifiers.

Unwrapping a Vegan Cuts beauty box is like creating a home spa for yourself: you can see yourself indulging in these products and luxuriating in exploring them, and the May box is no different. Featuring a selection of makeup and personal care products, this little box is a perfect example of why Vegan Cuts has enjoyed the success that it has: it offers the subscribers the possibility to try out things they never might otherwise have discovered.

Everclen Facial Toner – this non-toxic toner is free from parabens, phthalates, petroleum, and DEAs. Use it after cleansing to invigorate your skin before moisturising. It’s fragrance-free, so maybe go for a scented moisturiser.

Medusa Makeup Bronzer – an all-natural bronzer that offers a subtle sheen and glides beautifully onto the skin. A true stunner and perfect for everyday use.

Terre Mere Cosmetics Blush Brush – a good vegan makeup brush is gold dust for the cruelty-free cosmetics lover, and this brush is perfect for countering and highlighting. Bonus: it’s ridiculously soft.

Molly’s Rose Balms Grapefruit Basil Body Scrub – grapefruit and basil? Why not? These two fresh and vibrant scents work surprisingly well together. The itty-bitty size of this little tester is enough to give you a desire for more.
