How to Have The Ultimate Cosy Night In

We absolutely love this time of year. Dark, cold evenings call for cosy nights in. There’s nothing more indulgent than snuggling up on the sofa in your softest loungewear with mountains of blankets, hot chocolate and a roaring open fire (or dozens of candles if you aren’t lucky enough to have a real fireplace). And since your evenings will be spent hibernating in the comfort of your living room, we think it’s totally acceptable to change into your pyjamas as soon as you get home from work – duh.

For the ultimate cosy night in, start by running a warm bath then add a swirl of Kiss the Moon Love After Dark Bath Oil (1), which contains an indulgent blend of rose, palmarosa, ylang ylang and frankincense essential oils to relax the body, calm the mind and nurture the soul. While you relax in the water, use a luxurious body scrub to buff away dead skin cells and bring a healthy glow to your skin. We love 100 Percent Pure Vanilla Bean Body Scrub (2), which contains organic rosehip and apricot oils to deeply moisturise and nourish. After you’ve finished soaking in the bath, pat yourself dry with a big, warm, fluffy towel then massage in Neal’s Yard Remedies Frankincense Toning Body Cream (3), which contains age-defying frankincense with gotu kola extract and avocado oil to deeply moisturise the skin, restoring suppleness, texture and tone.

The feeling of fresh, new pyjamas is surely one of life’s simple pleasures. Noctu have created a line of luxury night and loungewear inspired by nature, and all of their cotton items are certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). The family-run business has roots in Bath, UK and Oslo, Norway, and their aim is to curate a line of indoor apparel that is both effortlessly elegant and indulgently comfortable. We think the Organic Cotton Harem Pyjama Bottoms in Slate Grey teamed with the Organic Cotton Pyjama Top in Juniper Blue will be perfect for keeping us warm throughout the winter, especially with the Organic Cotton Cardigan in Grey & White Stripe thrown over the top – all pictured below.

No cosy night in would be complete without curling up on the sofa with a good book or a box set, or perhaps even a Christmas film or two to get you in the festive mood? The Adette Chocolate Fox Faux Fur Throw by Faux England (4) will help to keep you warm and toasty while you camp out in your living room. If you want to be extra snug, make yourself a hot water bottle to cuddle as well! To create a cosy atmosphere, burn some scented candles like PHB Cinnamon & Clove 100% Natural Soy Wax Candle (5) – the perfect festive fragrance.

Treat yourself to some luxury chocolates such as Booja Booja Almond & Sea Salted Caramel Truffles (6) – the sweet/salty flavour combination and the gooey truffle texture will feel so indulgent! Autumn and winter were made for all things spicy, so keep away the chill with a cup of Pukka Wild Apple & Cinnamon Tea (7), which will help your worries to tumble away. When you can finally manage to prise yourself from the sofa to retire to bed, spritz SpaRitual Look Inside Fragrant Mist (8) around your bedroom to create a peaceful environment and set you up for an amazing night’s sleep.
