Healthy Bean Hummus Recipe for Your Weekend Party

Planning a get-together this weekend and looking for easy nibbles? This is the easiest healthy bean hummus recipe I’ve tried – and it really tastes delicious.

When making this updated take on hummus for the first time in my life, I decided to skip the oil and ended up using just what I had in my kitchen. Result? Easy, healthy and indulgent – at the same time. There’s lots of room for creativity – play around with the ingredients to make this a truly versatile dish.

Ingredients:

Can of mixed beans
Salt/ pepper
herbs ( my recommendations: basil, oregano, pinch of sweet paprika and garlic)
bit of fresh dill
just a few drops of lemon juice

Tools:

…just your trusty food processor.

How to:
Drain the beans, throw all ingredients into a food processor and process until smooth. All in all, the process will take about 5 minutes to make and 2 minutes to cool down. I do recommend putting it in the fridge for about 20 minutes – or until your guests arrive.

Eat with:

Dip veggies in it, or spread on canapes.
