Dress Like You Only Live Once – A Vilda Editorial with Equipe Major

‘Dress like you only live once’ is a motto we can get behind – because isn’t that the essence of fashion?

It’s about adding a dose of personality to any occasion, be it a day at work or a cocktail party. It’s about staying true to yourself. It’s about choosing a look that reveals a hint of your true self.

But while fashion is the most immediate form of self-expression, there is also the matter of the impact that the industry and its consumption have on our planet and the creatures who inhabit it – to be more specific, the use of animal products in fashion. Another motto that we own here at Vilda is ‘dress like you care’.

This exclusive editorial interprets the irrevent, contemporary mood of cruelty-free brand Equipe Major. Not only does Equipe Major offer edgy, urban-inspired pieces that make us wish we could buy them all at once – they are also completely cruelty free and vegan, meaning no animals were harmed in the making of their clothes. Just like us, this compassionate and contemporary brand believes in dressing like you only live once.

Danish model Nanna from Le Management rocks the cruelty-free pieces in this editorial lensed by photographer Linn Gullberg. Hair and makeup by Vilda’s own Anja Lastric.
