If there’s one thing we like to do it’s to dress up for a good party – and what better occasion than New Year’s Eve? The time has finally come to celebrate the past and the future – our wishes for you for the 31st is that your only worry will be to enjoy the moment!
Except it’s rarely that easy, is it? Choosing your New Year’s Eve outfit is one of the most crucial (and trickiest!) style decisions you’ll make all year – but we’re here to help.
When browsing for the perfect December 31 look, our goal was dress to impress (ourselves, usually) but also to celebrate life, love and a brand new year – the perfect outfit is something that makes you sparkle but also keeps you feeling comfortable. We settled on these two (very) different outfit ideas that are chic and on-trend, but pack some serious attitude.
Back to Black (And White)
A basic white tank goes perfectly with a glittering sequin skirt, but to keep things interesting we opted to skip the traditional pumps and went for an edgy Stella McCartney platform. Choose a colorful clutch to add an unexpected twist – and you are ready to go. Don’t forget a chic coat and top off with jewellery as a finishing touch.

Shine A Light
Tunics are a must-have for next year’s wardrobe so why not start 2015 with a stunning, embroidered one? Keep things classy with a nude pump, but don’t forgo an urban twist with a faux fur clutch. And if you are too cold to bare your legs, choose a pair of black super-skinnies. Skip the statement jewellery and go for stacks of tiny rings, delicate earrings and thin bracelets.
