Veggie Celebs on the Oscar Red Carpet

oscarsselfieeonline
The most star-studded red carpet event of the year had a special sparkle this time: here at Vilda HQ, we were delighted to see compassionate stars dazzle on the red carpet as well as clutching golden statues. We loved vegan Ellen DeGeneres’ brilliant hosting as well as her Saint Laurent suit. We applauded vegetarian Kristen Bell and Olivia Wilde’s gorgeous fashion choices.  The highlight of the night came early – vegan Anne Hathaway presenting the Best Supporting Actor award to vegan Jared Leto was a Vilda moment if we ever saw one. Another hero of the night was Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, looking stunning in an eco dress and shunning leather to sparkle in statement shoes from vegan brand Beyond Skin. If we could have one Oscar wish, it would be to have a taste of Wolfgang Puck’s vegan menu for the after party, proving that a true chef can cater to any needs (hear that, Gordon Ramsay?).
